On a frozen battlefield where the sky burns with laser fire and the ground is littered with the dead, Imperial Marine Marvis Drake knows only one truth: fight until the enemy is dead.

Raised for war, conditioned to obey, Drake and his squad push deeper into enemy territory, only to uncover something impossible. Beneath the endless slaughter lies a hidden city untouched by the chaos above. A place of peace and never to be found. But peace comes with a cost.

As Drake is pulled into a life he was never meant to live, he begins to question everything he was built to believe …. his duty, his loyalty, and the Empire itself. When his closest brother-in-arms refuses to abandon the war, Drake is forced to make an unthinkable choice.

Return to the battlefield… or betray everything he has ever known.
